    Enhancing the Iluko language proficiency of Grade II pupils in DMMMSU-NLUC, CE-ELS through line-up strategy

    This study was conducted at DMMMSU-NLUC, CE-ELS, Bacnotan, La Union from November, 2015 to December, 2015. There were 23 respondents from the grade II class of Mrs. Estrella L. Viste. It was undertaken to find out if there is an improvement in the level of Iluko language proficiency of grade II level through the use of line-up strategy. Specifically it sought to answer the following: 1) What is the level of Iluko language proficiency of the respondents during the pre-test?; 2) What is the level of Iluko language proficiency of the respondents during the post-test?; 3) Is there a significant difference between the results of the pre-test and post-test? Based on the results, the level of Iluko language proficiency of grade II pupils in their pre-test was fair, before the implementation of the above mentioned strategies. After the intervention, the grade II pupils performed very good in their post-test.
