    The available ube halaya in the market nowadays come in different packages. Some are packed in bottles and some are in styrofoam. Others pack their products in plastic disposable containers. As to the shelf-life of the ube halaya, it can be stored in a freezer for as long as a month. Ube halaya can be viewed to be of great benefit because of its nutritional value. Being a root crop, it can be a good source of carbohydrates. Considering the other ingredients in making halaya, like milk and coconut, its contribution to one’s health cannot be underestimated.
