(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University - North La Union Campus, 2015-03) Tipa, Aileen J.
Due to high cost of production, researchers has been focused on the possibilities of using alternative fertilizer sources which are affordable and environment friendly such as the use of Bio N, Mycovam, Vermi- Labs tea and Seaweed tea for corn. Hence, this study was conducted to determine the best bio fertilizers on the growth and yield of glutinous corn. This was conducted at Demo- farm of DMMMSU- NLUC, Bacnotan, La Union from November 21, 2014 to February 18, 2015 employing the Randomized Complete Block Design in three blocks. Based on the result of the study, glutinous corn performed comparably in terms of. plant height, length of corn ear, diameter of corn ear, , dry weight of corn ear, grain yield.
