    Narcissistic personality trait and social media behavior of the students in colleg of arts and sciences of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University

    This study focused on determining the social media behavior and the association of narcissistic personality trait to the gender and age of students of the College of Arts and Sciences of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University. The study used of descriptive research design and convenience sampling technique to determine the respondents. In order to measure the social media behavior, the 21 item social media behavior scale by Cissel (2018) was used The Narcissistic Personality Inventory-13 (NPI-13) by Gentile et. al (2013) was used. The result revealed that prosocial is the most manifesting social media behavior of the respondents. It also .revealed that the narcissistic personality trait of the respondents is Grandiose/Exhibitionism. However, female respondents scored higher in Grandiose/Exhibitionism than male respondents. Moreover, the study also revealed that gender and narcissistic personality trait has a significant association and the strength of association between the two variables is medium (moderate). It also revealed that no significant association between age and narcissistic personality trait.
