    "I'm panicking because I'm wrong gramming": Level of english language anxiety among students of DMMMSU-NLUC

    This quantitative-descriptive research determined the level of English language anxiety of the students of DMMMSU-NLUC. Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) was used to measure the level of English language anxiety of the students; and gather data from 336 participants. This study also presented the profile of the respondents according to their sex and year level. Results show that (1) the respondents have a high level of anxiety in terms of test anxiety, fear of negative evaluation, communication anxiety, and English classroom anxiety; (2) there is no significant difference between the respondent anxiety vis-à-vis sex and year level; (3) there is a significant difference between the respondent anxiety vis-à-vis sex and year level; and (4) intervention was made to address the language anxiety of the respondent: a training design on coping strategies in overcoming English language anxiety.
