    Factors affecting the financial performance of small enterprises in Caba, La Union

    MSMEs are considered as the backbones of an economy, by simply looking its contribution to economic growth and the current population of their enterprises around the world. This study aimed to identify the factors affecting the financial performance of small enterprises in Caba, La Union. Data were gathered from 21 registered small enterprises in Caba, La Union using a validated questionnaire and were analyzed using frequencies, percentages, ratio analysis, and fisher’s exact test. Findings revealed that there is no significant relationship between their capitalization, technology adopted, cash management practices and business’ location to their current ratio, return on sales and debt ratio.
