Publication Development of crop waste shredder(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University- Mid La Union Campus, 2024-12) Jucutan, Joey Jr L.; Leiza, Ken Franz M.; Reloza, Kenneth Dominique D.Agrochemical overuse, such as the overuse of pesticides and fertilizers, degrades soil health and lowers crop yields and quality. Shredded crop waste provides a viable substitute. In order to facilitate transportation and additional processing, crop waste must be finely processed. This research exhibits the creation of a crop waste shredder to facilitate the waste management and creation of a fertilizer substitute. Project development and descriptive-evaluative research design was used in the study. Experiments on a 10 kg waste revealed that shredding at intervals of 4, 8, 12, and 16 minutes produced more waste shreds.
