    Bivariate analysis of the IACVAWC TO RA 9262

    Violence against women and children (VAWC) is perhaps one of the most shameful human rights violations to ever exist on earth, and it is perhaps the most pervasive. That is why RA 9262 was enacted in order to fight VAWC in our country and one of its purposes is to provide support services to the victim-survivors of VAWC with the coordination of the IACVAWC. This study aimed to determine the awareness and compliance of the IACVAWC and to establish the issues and challenges met by them. This study used a mixed method research design utilizing survey method, interview and documentary analysis. Data were gathered from different agencies of IACVAWC, which consisted of 264 and 1 victim was interviewed. Conclusively, the respondents are aware and complied to the mandates of RA 9262.
