(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University -Open University System, 2024) Sotto, Ericca D.; Fontanilla, Reysheyl N.; Garcia, Marietony S.; Olais, Melody V.; Pang-ot, Elearn Ezra A.
This study evaluates the recruitment and selection practices for hiring white-collared employees of the hardware companies in the Second District of La Union. It examines the respondent's profiles, the extent of practices in areas such as labor standards, human relations, and work ethics, and the recruitment and selection procedures. A descriptive-comparative research design was utilized, with data collected through a survey of 36 respondents from two major hardware companies. Findings suggest that while recruitment practices vary, companies prioritize providing employees with the benefits they deserve. The proposed action plan is expected to enhance recruitment and selection processes of Hardware Companies in the Second District of La Union, ensuring better alignment with organizational goals and employee needs. This initiative aims to support management in fostering more effective hiring practices.
