Implementation and management of a contingency plan in the new normal: input for a project initiative plan
(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University - South La Union Campus, 2024-05) Panelo, Medina M.
Achieving educational objectives during an educational crisis is a challenge testing the leadership of school heads. This study aimed to assess the implementation and management of the contingency plan in the new normal by the school heads in La Union as a basis for a proposed project initiative plan. This is a quantitative descriptive research, and a survey questionnaire was used. The data gathered were treated using frequency counts, percentages, average weighted median, and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. Results showed that most respondents were female, in the 51 and above year bracket, and married. The implementation and management of the contingency plan in the new normal is implemented, the performance of the management practices is described as exceeds expectations, and the performance in the OPCRF along the KRAs is outstanding. Educational attainment and civil status are factors affecting the implementation of the contingency plan. A project initiative plan was proposed.
