    Enhancing the cultural awareness of Grade IV pupils of DMMMSU-NLUC, CE-ELS through concept mapping

    The main purpose of this action research is to enhance the cultural awareness of Grade IV Pupils of DMMMSU-NLUC, ELS. Specifically, it sought to answer the following: (1) What is the level of cultural awareness of the respondents during the pre-test of the study?; (2) What is the level of cultural awareness of the respondents during the post-test of the study?; (3) What is the rate improvement in the level of awareness of the respondents after the implementation of the concept mapping?; and (4) Is there a significant difference in the results in the pre-test and post-test of the study? The researchers used pre-test and post-test in gathering data. Results showed that the respondents became moderately capable after the strategy was used. Additionally, there is a significant difference between the scores of the pupils in the pre-test and post-test. Researchers found out that the concept mapping strategy could enhance the cultural awareness of the pupils.
