    Compliance of drugstores to RA 10754 or an act expanding the benefits and privileges of persons with disabilities in the City San Fernando, La Union

    The status of compliance of drugstores in the City of San Fernando based on the above 50% rating is considered as compliant as to the R.A 10754 or the Act Expanding the Benefits and Privileges of PWDs. But there is also a numerous or many of the PWDs saying that some of the drugstores in city are not complying with some specific guidelines or provisions. There is a big significant difference between the perceptions of PWDs and the Drugstore Managers. The main procedural barrier being encountered by both respondents is no PWDs I.D presented when they are purchasing their medicines for them to fully avail or exercise the discount they are entitled to enjoy. Die strategic plan serves as an instrument of all the results and implications of the study that will provide a better implementation and plan to become a fully complaint in the law.

    Graduate tracer study of Bachelor of Science in Office Administration in DMMMSU Mid La Union campus for year 2016 to 2018

    This study traced the importance of education in societal development, the mismatch between education and employment, and the value of tracer studies in assessing graduate employability and improving academic programs to better align with workforce demands. This study traced the employment of BSOA graduates from 2016-2018, examining their socio-demographic characteristics, employment profiles, the relevance of their degree program, school support services, employability factors, and performance in the workforce. A descriptive predictive research design was used, employing survey questionnaires distributed to graduates and employers. Data were analyzed to assess employment rates, job search duration, and the relevance of acquired skills. Most BSOA graduates found employment quickly, though some faced challenges due to competition. Employers valued their skills but stressed the need for ongoing development. The study recommends refining curricula, integrating hands-on learning, and strengthening industry partnerships to improve employability and career readiness.

    The study traced the significance of education, especially graduate employability and utilization of tracer studies in determining the skills gap and employment opportunities of graduates, focusing towards enhancing curricula to address the changing needs of the labor market. This study traced BSOA graduates from 2019-2023, focusing on their sociodemographic characteristics, employment profile, the relevance of their degree program to their careers, the adequacy of school support services, employability factors, and their performance in the workforce. A descriptive predictive research design was used, with survey questionnaires distributed to graduates and employers. Data were analyzed to assess employability, job search duration, and skill relevance. The findings show that most BSOA graduates quickly found employment, though some faced challenges due to competition. Employers were satisfied with their technical skills, adaptability, and employability. The study recommends improving curricula, strengthening industry linkages, and enhancing career readiness to better prepare graduates for the workforce.

    Impact study on the katarungang pambarangay extension training program of DMMMSU Public Administration department

    The Katarungang Pambarangay Training Program, a banner extension program of the Public Administration Department of DMMMSU-MLUC, is examined for its impact on barangay dispute resolution. This study assesses pre- and post¬ practices, strengths and weaknesses, and cases filed in recipient barangays, Casilagan and Suguidan Stir. Data from 22 out of 32 attendees was gathered through a questionnaire and informal interviews and analyzed through median, frequency, percentage, document review, and a Wilcoxon signed test. Before the program, barangay officials and lupon members moderately practiced Katarungang Pambarangay provisions, which were highly practiced after. Significant differences were noted before and after the implementation. Strengths include a better understanding of duties as a Lupon member, while time constraints were identified as a weakness. The highest filed cases were in 2016 (Casilagan) and 2019 (Suguidan Sur). Two case study briefs were served as a summary of the results, emphasizing the program's impact on barangay dispute resolution.

    Improving data integrity through institutional mechanisms:

    This study presents a comprehensive analysis of graduate research practices at DMMMSU-CGS, focusing on data processing integrity, statistical tool selection, and methodological transparency. Findings revealed critical inconsistencies in the documentation of software tools, with over half of the studies failing to specify the programs used, thereby limiting reproducibility. Among those that did, SPSS emerged as the predominant software, followed by MS Excel and other specialized applications—an indication of methodological dependence on a single platform. To address these gaps, a standardized Data Processing Manual was developed and validated using Lawshe's Content Validity Index. The manual received high expert ratings in content relevance, usability, and organizational structure. Its adoption is expected to strengthen research rigor, enhance transparency in data analysis reporting, and elevate the overall quality and reproducibility of academic research within the institution.

    Online Services bring out the impacts on the Learning Resource Center on both faculty and students of the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University Mid La Union Campus, College of Management. Specifically, their study addressed the following objectives: (1) gathered the profile of the respondents, (2) determined the level of Usability, (3) determined the significant differences among respondents. It used the USE Questionnaire for the determination of the level of usability which revealed that faculty withameanof4.27andthestudents withameanof4.29 were very highly satisfied. In the analysis of data there is no significant difference on the level of usability of the Online Services in the Learning Resource center along the respondent’s profile.
