Quinquito, DBA This study was conducted to determine the: (1) the Respondent’s profile of legume farmers, (2) Legume production practices and problems (3) the significant relationship between the socio-economic profile to the practices and problems of Legume enterprise., (4) The SWOT analysis of Legume Enterprise. (5) the development plan for the legume enterprise. The data was analyzed using different statistical tools like frequency counts, percentage, weighted mean and ranking. Data revealed that majority of respondents are tenants, and contract buyers controlled the respondents' market outlets, which were paid in cash on per kilo and per tie basis. Buyers delivered the legumes to farmers. Legume farmer identified high capital requirements, low buyer-set prices, high cost/interest, and limitations capital as major issues.
