    Perceived financial management practices of Micro-agribusiness enterprises in selected Municipalities of La Union
    (Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University - North La Union Campus, 2016-03) Marasigan, Hara Indiana C.
    This study assessed the perceived financial management practices of micro agribusiness enterprises of La Union as basis for a strategic plan. Twenty-nine entrepreneurs served as respondents to consider their profile and the enterprise and extent of financial management practices on determination of sources of funds; financial analysis; fixed asset management; and working capital management along cash, accounts receivables and inventory management; capabilities and constraints and strategic plan. The questionnaire was the primary tool used. Statistical tools utilized were frequency counts, percentages and weighted means. Capabilities included practices on financial analysis; fixed asset management; and working capital management along cash and inventory management; while capabilities included determination of sources of funds and working capital management – accounts receivable. The study concluded that the micro-agribusiness enterprises in La Union were practicing financial management but at different level. It further concluded that the proposed strategic plan serve as guide to improve its financial management practices.
