    Compliance of the LGUs of the 1st District of La Union with the ease of doing business and efficient government service delivery act of 2018 (RA 11032).

    The Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 (EODB) aims to streamline government services. Descriptive quantitative research assessed the compliance of Local Government Units (LGUs) in the 1st District of La Union with RA 11032. Data were collected by survey questionnaires and processed through documentary analysis. The following results were determined: (1) LGUs in the 1st district adhere to EODB in terms of Citizen’s Charter, Access to Government Services Through Frontline Services, and Report Card Survey; (2) there is a significant difference in perceived status compliance between employees and clients, (3) the top three digitalization efforts implemented were electronic online registration/application for business, licensing, and authorizations, new functionalities such as transaction monitor, and digital payments for permits, licenses, and authorizations; (4) the challenges for frontline employees include an increase in legal awareness, improved comprehension of customers' needs and preferences as well as expanded knowledge regarding online registration accessible to
