    Performance of Flowering Pechay Chaisim (Brassica rapa l.) intercropped with Duhat as affected by organic fertilizers

    The study was conducted at the Agroforestry Research and Demonstration Farm (ARDF), DMMMSU - NLUC, Bacnotan, La Union from December 14, 2014 to January 19, 2015. The study aimed to determine the growth and yield of flowering pechay intercropped with duhat as affected by organic fertilizers. The study was laid out following the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with four blocks and five treatment with a total of 20 experiment plots.The treatments used were the following: T₀ = Control (no fertilizer applied) T₁ = 15.95g farm gro (Commercial organic fertilizer) per hill T₂ = 0.10g Bio-N + 0.8g 0-16-0 per hill T₃ = 56.4g Cattle manure + 6.43g 0-16-0 per hill T₄ = 119.05g Vermicompost + 5.8g 0-16-0 per hill The results of the study show that there were highly significant effects of the organic fertilizers used in terms of the height, weight, yield and net income of the flowering pechay.
