The research examines the profile of businesses in the hospitality industry, factors influencing adoption decisions, and the effects of cashless transactions on finance, operations, and marketing. Data from 143 of 156 businesses were gathered through a checklist and a validated questionnaire and analyzed using frequency, percentage, median, and mode. Findings revealed that businesses in the hospitality industry are mostly restaurants, dominated by young and enterprising small businesses, and cash remains the dominant mode of transaction. Various forms of cashless transactions are also being adopted. The findings showed that decisions of businesses in the hospitality industry regarding whether to adopt cashless transactions or not were perceived to be influenced by perceived usefulness/benefits and perceived ease of use and were not influenced by perceived risks. Adopting cashless transactions positively affects the finance, operations, and marketing of businesses in the hospitality industry.
