Computer literacy training program for sea and sky college faculty and staff

Knowledge in computer operations is a must now that we are in the information age. Almost every aspect of our lives are being aided by computers and to cope with this, computer literacy programs are needed to enhance our level of computer literacy. This study aimed to create a computer literacy training program for the teaching and non-teaching staff of Sea and Sky College. The respondents of the study were the 35 teaching and non-teaching staff of Sea and Sky College, San Fernando City, La Union. The questionnaire was the main data gathering instrument. The findings revealed that respondents had low level of computer literacy in terms of hardware, MS Excel, MS Publisher, MS Word, and MS Power point. There was no significant difference found in terms of their computer knowledge between the teaching and the non-teaching staff.
