    Tourist management system for San Gabriel, La Union

    This study aimed to design and develop a Tourist Management System for San Gabriel La Union to help the tourism officers to lessen cost and time. Not just to help but also to help tourists lessen their time in registering manually. It helps them in saving time and money since it allows them to register anytime, they want to visitSan Gabriel, La Union tourist spots. Specifically, it aimed to determine the socio- economic profile of the respondents; determine the vulnerability of the developed system; assess the level of acceptability of the Tourist Management System for San Gabriel, La Union web-based application; and determine the significant difference on the perception of respondents according to sex and type of respondents. This study made use of the descriptive and developmental type of research with interview, journal review and survey questionnaire as the main tools in gathering data.The results were: (a) the socio-economic profile of the respondents shows that most of the respondents were female and more than half of the respondents were aged 25-below years old; (b) the respondents viewed the system as acceptable in terms of functionality, usability, efficiency, maintainability and portability; and (c) there is no significant difference in the perception of the respondents in the acceptability of the developed device as to functionality suitability, performance efficiency, usability, security, and reliability. However, there is a significant difference in the perception as to the portability of the developed system.
