(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Mid La Union Campus, 2024-05) Medina, Carl Justine L.; Boadilla, Christian Jay V.; Gundran, Renielle Jan S.; Libadia, Brian O.; Obaña, John Paul U.
The creation of the lot-Based Bangus Drying Machine was to improve the quality of the fish drying process. Developmental and descriptive engineering research designs were used in this study. The Machine was made following its description and specifications. It underwent an evaluation to test its accuracy in attaining temperature for the fish to dry, noting its drying time and heating speed. As to the process, the heating element, exhaust, temperature gauge, and timer were the vital components in the design of the machine. Its design was deemed feasible using the vital components. Finally, it was evaluated by the DOST and the DMMMSU-MLUC in San Fernando, La Union, concluding that the system is effective.
