    Enhancing the level of listening and comprehension skills of the Grade IV pupils of DMMMSU-NLUC, CE-ELS through story relay

    he main purpose of this action research is to enhance the listening and comprehension skills of Grade IV Pupils of DMMMSU-NLUC, CE-ELS. Specifically, it sought to answer the following: (1) What is the level of listening and comprehension skills of the respondents during the pre-test?; (2) What is the level of listening and comprehension skills of the respondents during the post-test?; (3) What is the rate of improvement in the level of proficiency of the respondents after the implementation of the story relay strategy?; and (4) Is there a significant difference between the results in the pre-test and post-test? The researchers used pre-test and post-test in gathering data. Results showed that the respondents improved after the strategy was used, from the level of good listening and comprehension skills to the excellent level. Moreover, there is a significant difference between the scores of the pupils in the pre-test and post-test. Researchers found out that story relay could enhance the listening and comprehension skills of the pupils.
