    Paiko Gold Resort and PSA a case study

    Resorts tourism was recognized as an important contribution of foreign exchange earnings, investments, employment and growth of the country’s output. This study presents the management operation of Paiko Golf Resort and Spa, Caba, La Union aimed to design a proposed action plan. This case study used the mixed method of research. Furthermore, this study used primary, secondary, and tertiary sources through documents, interviews, and direct observation for reliability and accuracy of data. The information was gathered through the use of interview sheet. The gathered information was analyzed using SWOT analysis comprised the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The identified major strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats were used to formulate strategies. The major strategies were used to design a proposed action plan. The major priorities in the proposed action plan were installation of an in ground pool slides, product development, install security devices, minor pool renovation, introduction of gymnasium, acquisition of additional generator, conduct of seminars and trainings.
