Addressing student well-being is emerging as an important approach to the development of student's social, emotional, psychological and academic competence. The degree to which a student demonstrates effective academic, social, and emotional functioning in their school community is an indicator of his or her level of well-being. The focus of this study is to determine the psychological and academic well-being of the students. This descriptive-correlational study collected data through the administration of questionnaire and standardized test to 211 students from the College of Tourism, Engineering, and Criminology. T-test and ANOVA were used to test differences and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation was used to test relationships. The findings of the study showed that students have low level of psychological well-being. The study found significant differences in EPI dimensions and gender. There is also significant differences of the respondents in terms of their courses along the dyscontrol dimension; IQ level and gregariousness; income bracket and trust, dyscontrol, and gregariousness respectively. The academic well-being of students in terms of GPA is average. There were significant differences noted among the students GPA along profile variables. The GPA is significantly related with some EPI dimension such as trust, distrust, control, aggression, and gregariousness. There was no relationship noted between GPA and emotional quotient; GPA and psychological needs. Based on the findings, there is a need to extend counseling, and conduct of seminars and enrichment activities to help students deal with their identified needs and concerns, thus, the development of wellness program is an important approach to enhance the well-being of students.
