Publication Gender inclusivity:(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Mid La Union Campus, 2026-02) Buccat, Keisha Jayne O.; Calica, Anabelle C.; Flores, Arlyn B.; Abuan, Johanna Mae S.; Heruela, Michelle V.; Parrocha, Maricel C.; Quinitip, Tiffany Ruth R.; Legaspi, Annaliza B.; Davis, Grace O.; Bayani, Kenth G.This study assessed the extent of gender inclusivity in the workplace policies and practices of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Luna, La Union. In order to ascertain whether current HR policies and proper practices promote equality, reduce gender prejudice, and support a variety of employee needs, it specifically looked at inclusion throughout the categories of acquisition, maintenance, and development. In-office administration, a total of 31 employees responded to a survey using a validated instrument and a convergence technique in a descriptive research design. The results indicated the extent of inclusiveness of the policy by using the measure of frequency, percentage, and median. The results show the effective manifestation of the LGU in carrying out gender inclusive policy statements regarding recruitment, selection, training, performance evaluation, and placement. Excellent assessment of work-related process execution showed consistent performance. However, areas in the company related to promotion and mobility need more observation regarding execution. The study provides in-depth information regarding the improvement of gender-responsive policy statements.
