Adviser : Quinquito, Joana N., D.B.A This study was conducted to propose a development plan for the Banana Enterprise in Santol, La Union. The data were drawn from 113 respondent farmers/ growers/ sellers, who were selected using purposive sampling and through interviews with the aid of questionnaire. The data covers (1) profile of the respondents, (2) enterprise profile, (3) banana enterprise practices, and (4) banana enterprise problems. The findings revealed that banana farmers had an average age of 50 years with an average of 1-10 years of farming experience. It was dominated by males with four as an average household size and at least having attained elementary level. The majority are small-scale backyard growers/ landowners hence all inputs are self-produced and little to no capital. The banana planted are diversified but the most planted variety is the Saba and Tundal. The most serious problems are natural calamities, pests and diseases, and low/unstable prices in the market.
