Bio-N innoculation and methods of GA3 application on the performance of Garlic (var. Ilocos white)
(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University - North La Union Campus, 2016-03) Galvez, Carol A.
In order to address the declining production of garlic due to low soil fertility, amidst its increasing demand, a field study employing Split Plot Design was conducted to determine the effect of Bio-N inoculation (I1- with Bio-N and I2- without Bio-N) and method of GA3 application (M1-Spraying and M2-Seed Soaking) on the growth and yield of garlic (var. Ilocos white) from November 04, 2015 to February 07, 2016 in Bungro, San Fernando City, La Union. The result of the study disclosed that there were no significant differences observed on the growth and yield parameters of garlic as affected by Bio-N inoculation, method of GA3 application and the combined effect of Bio-N inoculation and method of GA3 application.
