    Smart Portable Rice Miller
(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University- Mid La Union Campus, 2023-05) De Guzman, Ronald A.; Gali, Justin Romsr E.; Niñalga, Aaron Frank S.; Tamonda, Charlie Dave R.
The Smart Portable Rice Miller is a modern, compact, and efficient solution designed. Engineered for energy efficiency and ease of transport, the system includes smart technology and milling mechanisms, ensuring consistent milling capacity and milling efficiency. It features a user-friendly control panel and current sensor that monitor current and overload current protection to prevent malfunctions and ensure safe operation. Its portability and reliability make it ideal for decentralized rice milling operations to lessen extensive transportation. Specifically, the study aimed to design, construct, create a program and evaluate the performance of SPRM. Descriptive developmental research design in conjunction with the engineering design process was used in this study. The machine was evaluated to its technical performance by the said statistical method. Further findings indicated that SPRM was made in accordance with its description and specifications. Thus, the SPRM can be adopted by the farmers or small community concerned in rice milling.
