Publication Mungbean (Vigna radiata l.) as green manure for Shallot (Allium cepa l.) sprayed with varying concentrations of lactic acid bacteria serum (labs)(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University-North La Union Campus, 2017-03) Gacayan, Whaylie B.The problem on high input cost and the detrimental effects of excessive use of inorganic fertilizers lead to the depletion of natural substances present in the soil. Hence, this study was conducted to determine the influence of mungbean as green manure for shallot production applied with varying concentration of lactic acid bacteria serum (LABS). The study was conducted at the experimental area of DMMMSU-NLUC Sapilang, Bacnotan, La Union from December 28, 2016 to April 16, 2017 following RCBD with six treatments in four blocks. Application of 100% BSR (90-0-0 kg NPK/ha) produced the highest bulblet yield (3684.99) while application of 5% LABS and 5% Mungbean Green Manure, 10% LABS Sray + 10% Mungbean Green Manure, 15% LABS Sray + 15% Mungbean Green Manure, 20% LABS Sray + 20% Mungbean Green Manure produced comparable bulblet yield per hectare.
