(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Mid La Union Campus, 2025-05) Fontanos, Jhun Christian P.; Judan, John Joshua N.; Tavares, Lance Mclennechaste M.; Velasco, Jade Carlo C.; Ventura, John Tyron L.; Meana, Melchor A.; Tattao, Luis A.; Aquino, Eric C.; Cabradilla, Bonifacio C., Jr.
The increasing demand for organic fertilizers has driven interest in efficient and sustainable organic waste management, with animal manure being a valuable resource for this purpose. This study presents the development and evaluation of an Animal Manure Pulverizer for Organic Fertilizer, designed to optimize pulverization for improved soil absorption and nutrient distribution. The pulverizer demonstrated an average processing capacity of 81.9 kg/hr and an efficiency of 90.57% in converting cow dung, chicken manure, and goat manure into fine organic fertilizer. Results indicate that the machine effectively reduces manual labor, enhances fertilizer production, and promotes eco friendly agricultural practices. The findings support the advancement of organic farming through innovative manure management solutions, providing a practical and economical approach to sustainable agriculture.
