    Automated records management system of the Department of the Interior in Local Government regional office 1 personnel section

    This study is focused on the development of Automated Records Management System of the Department of Interior in Local Government Regional Office 1 Personnel Section. Specially, it aimed to answer the following problems: What are the capabilities and constraints of the existing Human Resource Information System and what are the problems being encountered when there using it. This study used descriptive and developmental research design and utilized Rapid Application Development (RAD) Model as its methodology in development of the system. A total of 5 respondents consisting of one (1) Head of HR Department, one (1) Administrative Staff, and three (3) IT experts were selected using total enumeration. Interview and documentary analysis were used to identify policies and procedures of the records management of the DILG RO1 Personnel Section. Survey questionnaires was used to determine the level of usability of the developed system using Used Questionnaires. All data gathered was quantified and analyzed with the used of frequency count and mean. The level of usability of the developed system was highly usable with a grand mean of 4.06. The developed Automated Records Management System of the Department of Interior in Local Government Regional Office 1 Personnel Section is very highly usable, therefore attested that the system for DILG ROI Personnel Section is adaptable for use.
