    Improvised portable clothes dryer

    The design, fabrication, assembly, and evaluation of the Improvised Portable Clothes Dryer sought to address the need for quick drying time of clothesfor household use, especially in laundry, resort, and hotel businesses. An Operations Manual was also prepared for its appropriate operation and use. This study used the project development type of research wherein the researchers conceptualized the design and specifications of the clothes dryer: made revisions after tests until the machine was deemed operational. The clothes dryer was further evaluated in terms of levels of technical soundness, level of technical performance, and level of acceptability. Findings showed that technical soundness was rated very satisfactory highly acceptable: level of technical performance was rated very satisfactory/highly acceptable, and level of technical acceptability was very satisfactory highly acceptable. The clothes dryer was deemed feasible for household use, laundry businesses, and also resort & hotel businesses. It was recommended that further improvements and development be done for the clothes dryer
