This study aimed to determine the academic performance of BPA students in DMMMSU MLUC. The data-were collected from the 71 third year students through documentary analysis. Findings revealed that BPA students vary in their proficiency in the OLSAT College Admission Test. As to General Education courses, the students had obtained the highest GPA in GEMC 101a while as to Professional Core courses, they had the highest GPAinPADM110.AlongtheSpecialCore courses, students had gained the highest GPA in PASC 102whilealongthe Elective courses, they had obtained the highest GPA in ELEC 113. The acquired overall GPA rating of the respondents among the mentioned courses was satisfactory. This study looked at the respondents' profile, their status of awareness of Gender-Based Sexual Harassment, and significant difference in their awareness when grouped according to profile. The study was conducted on three of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University's campuses through a researcher-made test questionnaire administered to 583 undergraduate students Academic Year 2023-2024. The data were analyzed using frequency and percentage and chi-square. The findings show that almost all of the respondents are young adults, a great majority of whom are females who are mostly heterosexual and cisgender, and a great majority express themselves as feminine. Most DMMMSU students are aware on Gender Based Sexual Harassment Concepts and Terms, Gender-Based Streets and Public Spaces Sexual Harassment and Gender-Based Online Sexual Harassment. There is a significant difference in the awareness of DMMMSU Students when they are grouped according to their age, sex at birth, gender identity, and gender expression. On the other hand, there is no significant difference in their awareness when grouped according to sexual orientation. Based on the findings, an IEC Material was formulated to strengthen the awareness of students on Gender-Based Sexual Harassment.Publication Competencies of punong barangays in the Municipality of Bauang, La Union(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Mid La Union Campus, 2026-04) Leoncion, Jasmine Ira B.; Ellarde, Jomar V.; Orbania, Jeanly B.; Tadije, Niña Grace T.; Estilong, Herminaldo P.; Quinitip, Tiffany Ruth R.; Ancheta, Marifel D.; Bayani, Kenneth G.; Pajimola, Allan Hil B.This study examined the competency levels of Punong Barangays in the Municipality of Bauang, La Union, in relation to their mandated functions under the Local Government Code of 1991. It specifically determined their level of competency, significant differences in perceptions among barangay officials, examined problems encountered, and formulated strategies to enhance their competency. A descriptive quantitative research design was utilized, involving 39 Punong Barangays, 271 Barangay Kagawads, 38 Sangguniang Kabataan Chairpersons, and 4 Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representatives, using a validated survey questionnaire supported by interviews and document analysis. Findings revealed that Punong Barangays demonstrated high competence in most governance areas, while moderate competence was noted in digital and information management. Significant differences were observed in perceptions of stakeholder engagement and personal effectiveness. The enactment of RA 10742 or the SK Reform Act of 2015 is made available as a policy towards engaging the youth to participate in good governance. It found out that most of the Sangguniang Kabataan claimed to have complied with the pertinent provisions of the Act and it was supported by most of the Katipunan ng Kabataan.
