    Growth and yield of Mustard (Brassica juncea l.) intercropped with Calamansi as affected by organic fertilizers

    The study evaluated the growth, yield and net income of mustard intercropped with calamansi and growth of calamansi as affected by organic fertilizers. It was conducted at the Calamansi plantation of DMMMSU-NLUC from the 28ᵗʰ day of January to 25ᵗʰ day of February 2015. The study was laid out following the Randomized Complete Block Design with four replications and five treatments. The treatments were as follows: T₀ - Control (no fertilizer), T₁ - 300 g chicken dung per hill T₂ - 237.73 g vermicompost per hill T₃ - 14 g Farmgro per hill T₄ - 1.66 g Bio-N per hill Results of the study revealed no significant differences among the treatment means on the number of days from sowing to emergence, germination percentage and survival percentage. However, significant results occurred on the plant height, number of leaves, weight per hill, per plot, net income per plot and per hectare.
