Quality of spring water sources in Sudipen, La Union

This study aimed to determine the quality of the spring water sources in Sudipen, La Union. Specifically, this study sought to determine the quality of the spring water sources in terms of physical, chemical and biological parameters. The made use of the descriptive-status type of research. Five barangays were selected as study sites where water sampling and analysis were conducted. Data gathered were supplemented by interviews and personal observation. Results revealed that the water from the spring sources is not potable for drinking purposes except for the spring water in barangay Up-uplas. This leads to the formulation of a proposed environmental management plan.
