    The Philippines is the highest number of pre-trial detainees in the Southeast Asia Region, it is caused by the factors like corruption in the judiciary and the lack of judges to try cases. This study aims to determine the status of the basic services offered to Persons Deprive of Liberty in Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in San Fernando City, La Union; these services are food service, health service, sanitation service, education program, and livelihood programs. The study utilized the descriptive research and used a questionnaire to gather information about the status of the basic services offered to PDLS in San Fernando City Jail, with 15 respondents. The following salient findings were: food service, health service, sanitation service, education program, and livelihood programs are all present in the jail facility.
