    Tracer study of the bachelor of science in mathematics graduates of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State Universtity South La Union Campus from school year 2007-2012

    The purpose of this paper is to trace and identify the employability of the BS Mathematics graduates from 2007 - 2012 of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University South La Union Campus. A questionnaire that covers demographic information, job status and employability profile of the graduates was utilized. There were 73 successfully tracedfrom the 129 graduates from 2007 - 2012. Among the 73, 28 were employed, 26 were underemployed, 18 were unemployed and 1 was self-employed. Furthermore, 39 of them were working as permanent, 13 as contractual, 4 employed temporary and 2 were under probationary. Most of the respondents worked in private sectors. Communication skills, computer and technical skills, and leadership skills were suggested by the graduates that could improve the chances for BS Mathematics graduates in looking for a job. It was suggested also that graduates should at least take eligibility examinations.
