    Utilization of school-based feeding program fund of the la Union schools division office

    This study determined the level of awareness in SBFP guidelines in La Union Schools Division Office along downloading of SBFP funds, utilization of SBFP funds and reporting requirement. It also assessed the level of implementation of SBFP guidelines along the same applications as well as the degree of seriousness of problems and issues encountered. This study involved 170 respondents from public elementary school under the La Union Schools Division Office, its Finance personnel, and audit members from the commission on Audit. Results showed that selected public elementary schools in La Union Division were generally very highly aware of the principles in SBFP Fund along downloading and utilization of SBFP funds and reposting requirement. Guidelines governing the SBFP Funds along the same applications were generally very highly implemented in the said division. Problems and issues encountered in its implementation were generally moderately serious. To address such problems, policy recommendations were formulated.
