    Building a stronger workforce:
(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University - Mid La Union Campus, 2025-05) Hidalgo, Aira Nicole L.; Bautista, Jhea May A.; Cabar, Nicole M.; Tagalan, John Vergel A.; Apilado, Rachel Ane M.
The study explored workplace inclusion strategies implemented by Jollibee Foods Corporation and McDonald’s across 19 selected fast-food franchises in a regional setting. It aimed to identify specific strategies that promote diversity and inclusion, as well as challenges encountered, using the inclusive organizational development framework. Inclusion was examined across four human resource dimensions: job organization and information, acquisition, maintenance, and employee development. A cross-sectional survey design was adopted to capture insights from managers at a single point in time. Data were gathered from 162 franchise managers using a validated face-to-face survey and analyzed through Microsoft Excel for frequency and percentage distribution. The study revealed that Fast-food chains in La Union promote workplace diversity by fostering inclusivity, encouraging collaboration, and embracing multicultural employee interactions. Study also revealed that challenges encountered by fast-food chains in La Union are manageable and can be effectively addressed through strategic planning and operational adaptability.
