    Quality management system awareness of offices in the Municipality of San Juan, La Union

    Quality Management System is a process employed by an organization to uphold constant quality in its products or services. This study determined the quality management system awareness of the LGU employees in the Municipality of San Juan, La Union. A quantitative-descriptive research design was used to obtain the profile and level of quality management system awareness of 115 employees’ using a survey instrument, which were analyzed using frequency counts, percentages, 5-point Likert Scale, Chi-Square and Spearman Rho. The findings revealed that the LGU employees are (45.2%) are permanent, where almost half (49.6%) are in service for two to six years, (14.8%) are in the office of municipal engineer, with (54.8%) designated in administrative aide, and almost all (94.8%) are college graduate. Further, the findings indicate that the employees are very aware of quality management system and the highest educational background of the respondents was found to have significance of being aware about QMS.
