Pantawid pamilyang pilipino program in set one areas in Pangasinan: basis for program sustainability

The government has a tremendous effort to combat poverty through the CCT of the DSWD's Pantawid Pamilya Program. This study was conducted to evaluate the program’s level of implementation and level of attainment of the MDGs from 2008-2014 to come up with a Program Sustainability. The descriptive research design was used with the questionnaire as the main data gathering tool. Purposive sampling was utilized to gather answers from 120 beneficiaries and 54 service providers chosen from the Set One Areas of Pangasinan. The data was analyzed using frequency counts, percentages, weighted mean and t-test. The program’s level of implementation and attainment of the MDGs were rated from “highly implemented/attained” to “very highly implemented/attained”. There was a significant difference in the means of the two groups of respondents as to its level of implementation while no significant difference existed in their means as to the level of attainment of the MDGs.
