    Commission on higher education (CHED) and higher education institutions (HEI'S) in Region I online intraoffice communication system

    This study delved on "Commission on Higher Education and Higher Education Institutions in Region I Online Intra-office Communication System". Specifically this study seeks to answer the questions what is the status of the Online Intra-office Communication System (OICS) of CHED and HEIs along performance, information, economics, control, efficiency, service; what Intra-office procedure between CHED and HEI's along; posting or dissemination of information or memo, submission of reports, evaluation of reports, monitoring of reports and verification of reports. What are the CHED and HEI's forms or documents,What Online Intra-office Communication System for CHED and HEIs in RO1 could be developed and lastly what is the level of acceptability of CHED and HEIs in Region 1 Online Intra-office Communication System in terms of attractiveness, consistency, control, error prevention, feedback, functionality, helpfulness, learnability, navigation and visual clarity. This study used descriptive and developmental type of research and Rapid Application Development (RAD) in developing the system and use survey questionnaire was administered by 3 panel evaluators to access the existing Intraoffice Communication of CHED. To get the level of acceptability of the system another survey questionnaire was administered to 15 respondents as to the level of acceptability of the system. To quantify the results, the researchers was use of mean, weighted mean. Findings of the study revealed that in terms of substantive characteristics and ICT resources as to kind of the system, CHED has enough resources to manage the existing system which is the manual based of sending reports of HEIs to CHED's RO1 office. Through this, there are some kinds of constraints in sending reports, which cause to late and delayed reports. This are the reasons why the researchers developed an Online Intra-office Communication System runs in aWindows platform and was developed with PHP-Hypertext Processor, HTML, CSS, JAVA Script and Mysql for the database. The system is highly functional as to the level of functionality of the system in terms on its non-functional and functional requirements.
