Property investment practices of Ilocano OFWs in San Fernando City, La Union

Property Investment Practices of Ilocano OFWs allows them to secure family’s future, build long-term wealth, and achieve financial stability despite working abroad. The study was conducted to determine the profile of Ilocano OFWs, extent of property investment practices, the relationship between the extent of property investment practices and the profile of Ilocano OFWs, and the extent of Ilocano OFWs experience challenges in property investment practices. Data from 195 Ilocano OFWs was gathered using a validated questionnaire and analyzed using frequency, percentage, median, chi-square test with Cramer’s V, and Spearman’s rho. Findings revealed that most respondents have often practiced property investment practices; most of the relationship between the profile and property investment practices have no significant and the extent of challenges that Ilocano OFWs experienced is moderately challenging.
