Item Fintech utilization and customer satisfaction in micro and small convenience and grocery stores in the City of San Fernando, La Union(Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Mid La Union Campus, 2026-04) Andal, Aaron Jonathan E.; Bono, Rebecca L.; Cuison, Blademer W.; Parrocha, Maricel C.; Gacayan, Daniel B.; Bayani, Keneth G.; Siong, Venus D.; Quinitip, Tiffany Ruth R.The increasing adoption and utilization of financial technologies (FinTech) in enterprises has brought automated and innovative financial services, specifically for payment transactions in micro and small convenience and grocery stores. This study examined the level of FinTech utilization and customer satisfaction in micro and small convenience and grocery store in the central business district of the City of San Fernando, La Union. The study examines the relationship between the profile of convenience and grocery store owners and their FinTech utilization, and between customer profiles and their satisfaction. Data were collected using a structured survey questionnaire, and a descriptive-correlational research design was employed. To determine the relationship among variables, Cramer's v, Spearman Rho and JAMOVI app, were employed to analyze data from 22 micro and small convenience and grocery stores, and 30 customers. The result shows that FinTech in micro and small convenience and grocery stores were utilized efficiently, and customers are satisfied with the services provided by FinTech. The profile of convenience and grocery store in terms of; initial capitalization, form of ownership, number of employees, and years of operation does not directly influence their FinTech utilization. Likewise, customers profile in terms of; age, sex, monthly income, and educational attainment do not directly affect their satisfaction in using Fintech.
