    Agribusiness tracer study of DMMMSU-NLUC

    This study was conducted specifically to trace the whereabouts of the graduates of Agribusiness Management from 2000-2007, to determine the employment data of the respondents, to gather reasons on taking up the course, to determine the level of applicability of the subjects offered and to propose curricular and course development. Findings revealed that the respondents who are mostly females and single, are from Region I, from the Province of La Union and resides in the municipality. Most of the respondents were graduates of the year 2007 and three of them received an award, which is the Student Agribusiness of the Year. No one of them took up professional examinations and most of them did not attend any training/seminars. Majority of the respondents were presently employed, permanent and belong to Business Organization. Most of them worked in local and it is their first job. Based on the result gathered, most of the respondents have an income of below P5, 000. The curriculum is relevant to their first job and they learned some competencies. In terms of applicability, most of the subjects offered by the Agribusiness Management are extremely applicable.
