    Factor causing anxiety in speaking using the English language

    English Language is the linguistic bridge to the world. However, language learners speaking English is not easy to be practiced. Students go through many processes and kinds of learning in the target language. Students go through many processes and kinds of learning in the target language. Along these processes, the students are faced by the internal and external factors that follow the positive and negative impact toward the process of learning English. One of the factors is the feeling of anxiety which sometimes may arise in response to a particular situation or event which can be considered to be a major character. The study aimed investigate the profile and the different factors that cause anxiety in speaking english language. It also aimed to investigate the relationship of the respondents' profile to their learning style. Specifically, it will attempt to answer the following questions: 1) What is the profile of the students. In terms of a) Gender b) Year Level c)Age. 2) What are the factors that Influence the feeling of anxiety of the respondents in using English when Speaking? 3) What are the strategies that the respondents employ to cope up language anxiety? 4)What activity/training activity may be proposed to lessen the language anxiety of the respondents. The researchers find some problem in speaking skill if fi st ear to fourth year students do not have enough self confidence.

The researchers find some problem in speaking skill of first year to fourth year .student do not have enough self confidence. This research focuses on students speaking anxiety based on the characteristics pi anxiety and that caused students anxious. This research was quantitative in data collecting technique was done by survey questionnaire and documentation. The research subject. was first year to fourth year students that the number was 110 students. The result of this research shows that students who feel anxiety when speaking English caused by some factors. Those are classroom activities, ways of teaching, disbelief in speaking and stressful speaking experiences.
