Lakasa ti Sirib, DMMMSU Institutional Repository.https://lakasa.dmmmsu.edu.ph/handle/123456789/1563This study was conducted to compare the performance of broilers fed with pure broiler starter mash against those fed with varying amounts of maggot meal (3%, 6%, and 9%); which was reported as good source of protein and energy. This was conducted from November 30, 2011 to January 7, 2012 at the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, North La Union Campus, Bacnotan, La Union. Sixty, two-week-old broiler chicks were randomly distributed into four treatments with three blocks following the RCBD. Birds fed with 3% to 9% maggot meal performed comparably with birds fed with commercial ration in terms of final weight, feed conversion ratio and profit above feed cost, medicine and stock cost. However, results were significant and highly significant on gain in weight and feed consumption respectively.en-USThesis
