The enactment of RA 10742 or the SK Reform Act of 2015 is made available as a policy towards engaging the youth to participate in good governance. It found out that most of the Sangguniang Kabataan claimed to have complied with the pertinent provisions of the Act and it was supported by most of the Katipunan ng Kabataan. However, the study revealed the weaknesses being assessed, particularly its ability to source alternative funds for program and project implementation, lack of youth representatives, weak administrative skills among Sangguniang Kabataan and insufficient of numbers and trainings provided.enThesis
