Field Evaluation of Two Fungal Inoculants on the Growth of Banana var. Lakatan under San Manuel Silt Loam. Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Major in Crop Science), Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, North La Union Campus, College of Agriculture, Bacnotan La Union. Adviser: Amoyen, Julius Caesar M., M.Sc. Lakatan, a variety of bananas, is one of the most popular fruit crops in the Philippines due to its high demand. As a fruit crop, it requires high expenses for fertilizers to sustain production. To address this issue, this study was conducted to determine how fungal-based fertilizer can affect the growth of bananas and the incidence and severity of Sigatoka. The different treatments used as Follows: T1 – General Fertilizer Recommendation, T2 – 50% GFR, T3 – 50% GFR + Mycorrhiza Inoculant (MYKOVAM™), T4 – 50% GFR + Trichoderma Inoculant (BIOSPARK™) and T5 –50% GFR+ Mycorrhiza (MYKOVAM™) + Trichoderma Inoculant (BIOSPARK™). The study was laid out in RCBD with three blocks and implemented at the Banana Production Demo Area of DMMMSU-NLUC, College of Agriculture, Sapilang, Bacnotan, La Union, from February to June 2022. Based on the results of the study, banana plants applied with 50% GFR in combination with mycorrhiza or Trichoderma inoculant or their combination have a comparable effect on the growth of the plant and the incidence of Sigatoka.Field evaluation of two fungal inoculants on the growth of banana var. lakatan under San Manuel Silt LoamThesis
