Hence, this study was conducted to determine the best level of trichanteraleaf meal (10%, 15%, 20%) as feed extender to broilers. It was conducted at Casiaman, Bacnotan, La Union from November 27, 2012 to December 31, 2012. Sixty(14 day-old) broiler chicks were used in the study employing the RCBD in three blocks. Based on the result of the study, birds fed with varying levels (10%to20%) of trichantera leaf meal as feed extender performed comparably with birds fed with pure commercial mash in terms of final and gain in weight, feed consumption, feed conversion ratio, and profit above feed, medicine and stock cost.en-USTrichantera (Trichantera gigantea) leaf meal as feed extender for broilersThesis
