This was conducted to determine the effect of different rates of vermicompost on mungbean ( T0 – No Application, T1– RR kg N/ha), T2 – 4kg vermicompost + RR, T3 – 8kg vermicompost + RR, T4 – 12kg vermicompost + RR) employing RCBD in 3 blocks. This study was conducted at the Experimental Farm of DMMMSU-NLUC from November 2013 – January 2014. Plants applied with 12kg vermicompost produced more number of seeds per pod. However, no significant variations were recorded in terms of days to emergence, flowering, maturity, number of pods per plant, length of pods, plant height, reaction to pest and diseases, weight of 100 seeds and seed yield.en-USRates of vermicompost application on Mungbean (Vigna radiata l.)Thesis
